I don't read a lot of fic for this fandom, but I've read a small few good ones. Forumverse is pretty fun, then there's this kind of dark fic about Keith that I ended up liking anyway because it was done in a way that was generally plausible, and Relocated (and chapter 2 and chapter 3) by the same author, which is utterly hilarious.

I'm a bit surprised there are so many angst fics. I mean, T&B are mostly optimistic series, so why? what's with the need to increase the angst level?

Yeah, the Hot Fuzz crossover is so great.

Yeah, there's a lot of angst fic out there. Personally my favorite T&B stuff is light-hearted gen, being closest to the series itself, but I can see the appeal of a little angst too. What really gets me is this weird fanon!Keith I see pop up sometimes who, like, uses people for sex and such. I am not even fucking kidding, like did they even watch the show?

My headcanon is that Keith is a quiet dog person who has no life apart from being a hero. He's so extremely timid (and adorable!) around Cis. Sex life what?

I see people are pairing him up with Ivan for some reason. Idk.

The most hilarious thing so far is Kotetsu/Yuri. Obviously, since Yuri "saved" him that once, they must be together forever.

Off-topic: Agnes and Diethard Reid would either love each other and make the best show in the multiverse or go at each other's throats. No middle ground.

My headcanon for Keith matches yours, which is why I'm so baffled (and irritated) by massively OoC Keith. I don't mind people writing him getting into a relationship and having sex, but there's an IC way to do it and I so rarely see it.

I've never seen Kotetsu/Yuri, actually, but I can see the justification there. I only see Kotetsu with Barnaby or Tomoe (or from that one author, Keith).
