Ah, there is one particular thing about the fic I want to compliment you on.
In the show Maverick used to be a fatherly figure to Barnaby and it was obvious that he was very important to Bunny-chan, but once Maverick started turning evil, the change was abrupt and by the time Bunny had to deal with it, Maverick had shown himself so despicable that there was no hesitation.
The importance of the connection they formed to Barnaby (and maybe to Maverick), as false as it was, was lost/glossed over in favor of a quick plot progression.
You, instead, do take time to show all the tender moments between Maverick and Barnaby, and even though I know what Maverick is plotting, I also see him as the man who raised Barnaby. I do love the ambivalence.
