This had a lot of flavous of the episode where *spoilers* Sky High loses his title */spoilers*. Keith's lack of cheer is a huge emotional barometer for the heros - much more so than Karina's fits of pique or Kotetsu's occasional slumps or even Barnaby's angst. It's just wrong.
I kind of love Ivan, and I adore him here - kind and giving and, while he may have an ulterior motive, he clearly doesn't expect anything in return. Such a sweetie. XD
